“Make a story”
A summary of the TM meeting on 11/6/2010
From Helen – “How to learn a second language”
A girl asked the boy she loves, “Am I pretty?” The boy said, “No.”
She asked again, “Do you like me?” He answered, “No.”
She tried again and asked, “Do you want to be with me forever?” He said, “No.”
Lastly, she asked, “Would you cry if I walk away?” He answered, “No.”
The girl had heard enough and walked away, tears streaming down her face. The boy grabbed her arm ever so gently and told her to stay. He said, “You are not pretty, you are the most beautiful person I’ve ever laid eyes on. I do not like you, rather I love you with my whole heart. I do not want to be with you forever, but I need to be with you until the end of time. And if you ever walk away, I will die…”
From John – “You may not be an environmentalist”
The best way to reduce consumption and to protect environment is
- Not to have babies
- To kill as many people as possible and if there’s no one can be killed, you’d better kill yourself.
Tips:
- Timer should focus on time
- More eye contact
- Stories should include more twists
- Avoid verbal expressions of nervousness
- Rehearsal and record
